Kelli Stavast is an American sports broadcaster. She currently works as a pit reporter for NBC Sports’ NASCAR (in both the Cup and Xfinity Series) as well as IndyCar Series coverage. Kelli has reported on so many other forms of motorsports throughout her career. She also reported diving at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Also, she covered freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyongchang. In 2015, Kelli became part of NBC’s returning NASCAR coverage as a pit reporter.
An announcement was made on January 22, 2014, that Kelli would be joining the broadcast team along with Marty Snider. Later in the year, another announcement was made that the team of two would be joined by Dave Burns and Mike Massaro. The team of four would make NBC’s four pit reporters for the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series.
Among the four, Kelli was the only original member of the NBC broadcast team employed without prior experience covering NASCAR. However, she had experience in reporting for other forms of motorsports for NBC, Speed, and also ESPN such as Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, Stadium Super Truck Series, the Grand-Am, American Le Mans Series, and IMSA (formed by the merging of the Grand-Am and American Le Mans Series,)

Covering Championship Off-Road Racing for NBC and SPEED was her first motorsports assignment. Kelli interviewed Brandon Brown, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race winner at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama after the race on October 2, 2021. During the interview, Kelli stated that the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” after the crowd was unmistakably heard chanting “Fuck Joe Biden.” Internet memes were created using “Let’s Go Brandon” shortly after the interview in place of the derogatory phrase towards President Joe Biden. Initially, NASCAR officials posted the interview on Twitter but later deleted it though they never gave a reason to reporters as to why they did so. Since then, Kelli has offered no comment on the error as of October 2021.
