Devin Scillian is an American children’s author, musician, and television journalist. He currently serves as an anchor at WDIV-TV (NBC affiliate) based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Devin launched his television career at WIBW-TV based in Topeka, Kansas while still a student at the University of Kansas. After he graduated from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, Devin joined WAND-TV based in Decatur, Illinois. He worked there from 1985 to 1986.
Devin spent the next three years working as the main anchor at KLTV based in Tyler, Texas. From there, he moved to KFOR based in Oklahoma City in 1989. Devin became part of the WDIV news team as a reporter in 1995. The following year, he took an anchor position in 1996. Devin has appeared as a tv journalist in several films such as Mooz-lum, The Double, and Scream 4. He as well had a recurring role as a news anchor on the Ellen DeGeneres Show “Breaking News” skit.
