Robert Griffin III (Full Name: Robert Lee Griffin III) is a prominent retired American football quarterback who spent eight seasons playing in the National Football League (NFL), most notably with the Washington Redskins. He received the Heisman Trophy while playing college football at Baylor University, where he was also taken second overall by the Redskins in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Robert led the Redskins to their first division title since 1999 while setting league records for the highest rookie passing rating and touchdown-interception ratio.
