Larry Mowry is an American Meteorologist. He currently works at ABC7 as the station’s weatherman based in Chicago. He rejoined the ABc7 meteorological team in April 2016. There, Larry covers the weather at 4 pm as well ad 6 pm every weekday. He also broadcasts the 7 pm news on WCIU channel 26.
From 2005 to 2008, Larry worked as the Morning Meteorologist at CBS station WKMG based in Orlando, Florida. Before that, Larry was an ABC 7’s Saturday morning meteorologist since 2004. In 2017, he won an Emmy Award for “Outstanding On-Camera Talent – Weather Anchor.” given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Chicago/Midwest Chapter.
