Jeff Nelson ( Full name: Jeffrey Allan Nelson) is a retired American baseball relief pitcher. Currently, he is a  broadcaster. He has filled in on sports radio KJR-AM in Seattle. During the 2010 post-season, he worked as an analyst for MLB.com. Jeff joined Fox Sports’ pre-game broadcast team for Miami Marlins in 2016. In 2019, he served as a game analyst for the YES Network where he occasionally called games for his former team.  Jeff started appearing on the YES Network’s pregame show on July 12, 2019.
