Liza Featherstone is an American journalist and author. She is a journalism professor who currently writes frequently on labor and student activism for The Nation and Jacobin. Liza served as the Belle Zeller visiting chair in public policy at Brooklyn College from 2013 to 2015. Apart from writing for The Nation and Jacobin, she also teaches at NYU as well as Columbia’s School of International Public Affairs.

Ross Barkan ( Full Name: Ross Elliot Barkan) is an illustrious American novelist, columnist, and journalist. Currently, he works at Jacobin Magazine and The Guardian as a columnist. Additionally, Ross also serves at The Nation as a contributing writer. Prior to joining Jacobin Magazine, The Guardian, and The Nation, he worked as a columnist and freelance reporter at Village Voice and numerous other publications.

Eric Alterman is a preeminent American educator, blogger, media critic, author, journalist, and historian. Currently, he works at Brooklyn College as a CUNY distinguished professor of English. Additionally, Eric also serves for The American Prospect as a writer. He writes the Altercation newsletter. Furthermore, Eric is the author of his most recently published book christened Lying in State: Why Presidents Lie and Why Trump is Worse.

Katha Pollitt is an American cultural critic, essayist, and poet working for the Nation as a columnist. She joined the Nation in 1980 and has been a recipient of numerous awards including the National Magazine Award for essays and criticism. Furthermore, Katha has compiled in three books her many contributions to the Nation.

Kali Holloway is an American journalist working as a regular columnist for The Daily Beast. She was the  previous director of the Make It Right Project. Furthermore, Kali is also a monthly contributor to The Nation.

Alexis Grenell is an American journalist and political consultant. She serves as a political consultant who writes frequently about gender and politics at The Nation. Her work has appeared in the New York Daily News, Newsday, The Washington Post, the New York Post, El Diario, and City & State. She has also been the Co-Founder at Pythia Public Affairs in Brooklyn, New York since July 2016.
