Brant received a Seal of Approval from the American Meteorology Society for his radio and television forecasts. Apart from meteorology, he has been entertaining radio listeners for at least 20 years and he does weather forecasts for WZZN-FM on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Before joining NBC 5 in 1991, Brant was working for FOX 32 as a weather forecaster from 1989 to 1991.

Trina Orlando is an American journalist currently working as a reporter for NBC 5 in Chicago. She joined the TV station in July 2014 and reports the station’s newscast at 10 p.m.

Chris Coffey is an American anchor and reporter. He currently serves as an investigative reporter for NBC5 in Chicago. Chris joined the NBC 5  news team as an investigative reporter in July 2013. Previously, Chris worked as an investigative reporter at the NBC-owned station WVIT-TV based in Hartford, Connecticut. While there, he became the founding member of the Troubleshooters unit of the station.

Lisa Chavarria is an American journalist currently working at NBC 5 in Chicago, Illinois as a general assignment reporter. She joined the news channel in June 2017. Before joining NBC 5 in Chicago, she worked at WFLD, a Fox owned-and-operated television station in Chicago, Illinois, where she was a reporter and also a fill-in anchor. She worked at the station for 5 years after joining in April 2012 and leaving in April 2017. She began her journalism career at WPBN-TV, an NBC-affiliated television station in Traverse City, Michigan where she was a general assignment reporter and also an anchor

Dave Fraser is an American Meteorologist. He currently serves as the Chief Meteorologist for the Pinpoint Weather team on FOX31 as well as Colorado’s Own Channel 2.Dave has been forecasting in Denver for more than 17 years. In 2017, Dave was honored as the Best Weathercaster by the Colorado Broadcasters Association. He had been previously honored with the same award along with Emmy nominations and also Associated Press awards.

Lauren Petty is an American journalist currently working for NBC 5 in Chicago as a fill-in anchor and reporter. She joined the TV station in January 2012 and can be seen on weekdays from 4:00 a.m. to 7 a.m.
