William is the founder and director of the advocacy organization Defending Democracy Together. He is responsible for such projects as Republicans for the Rule of Law, Republican Voters Against Trump, and Republicans Against Putin. William is also known for playing the leading role in the defeat of President Bill Clinton’s health care plan and advocating the U.S. invasion of Iraq. He is a critic of President Donald Trump.
