Willam Belli is an American drag queen, musician, and recording artist. He came famous after a contestant on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race held in 2012. However, Willam was disqualified in the “Frenemies” challenge. A panel of judges from New York magazine placed him ninth on their list of “the most powerful drag queens in America”, in June 2019, a ranking of 100 former Drag Race contestants.
Willam has recorded three albums of comedy music since 2012. Most of those albums consist of parodies of popular songs. His second album titled Shartistry in Motion became number 1 on the Billboard Comedy Albums chart. Willam recorded several songs between 2012 and 2014, as part of the group DWV. He did that alongside the other two drag queens called Vicky Vox and Detox.
