Wilbur Soot (Full Name: William Patrick Spencer Gold) is a popular British Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and musician who first became known in 2017 for his work with the group comedy YouTube channel SootHouse, where he made recurring appearances and became the lead editor and a co-founder. He afterward began his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March 2019.

Wilbur Soot Lovejoy

He created the indie rock band Lovejoy in 2021 with his friend Joe Goldsmith. The band consists of Wilbur as lead vocalist, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist; Goldsmith as the lead guitarist, co-songwriter as well as a backing vocalist; Mark Boardman as the drummer; and Ash Kabosu as the bassist.

The Lovejoy band was originally named ‘Hang the DJ, however, the name was afterward changed to ‘Lovejoy’, inspired by Benedict Lovejoy, a friend of the band who would sit with them in the early days of songwriting.
