Whitney Clark is an American anchor and reporter. The Emmy award-winning journalist currently serves as a weekend morning anchor and reporter at KTVK/KPHO. Whitney is thrilled to be back “home” at Arizona’s Family and working for her hometown channel based in Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up watching the KTVK morning news. After high school, she served as an intern for Good Morning Arizona while attending Arizona State University. Now, she considers her coming back to the station is a dream come true.
Prior to landing in Phoenix, Whitney worked for nearly five years at KGUN9 based in Tucson. While there, she served as a nightside reporter and fill-in anchor. Eventually, Whitney was promoted to become the morning anchor. As a morning anchor, Whitney covered everything from high-profile immigration cases to the historical 2016 presidential campaign. Also, she spent four years working at KTVL News10 based in Medford, Oregon.
During her free time, Whitney likes exploring Arizona’s beautiful hiking trails, buying her cat named Gertrude McFuzz too many toys, and trying new recipes. Her passion is giving back to the community. In so doing, Whitney has volunteered with various Arizona organizations such as Literacy Connects, she is a former member of the Junior League of Tucson, Inc. Additionally, Whitney is a former board member for the Tucson-based non-profit, Our Family Services.
