Travis Mayfield is a former American anchor and reporter. He most recently served as a host on Q13 News This Morning. He had joined the channel in 2006. Before that, Travis was hired by KOMO News to work for their radio and tv channels. His career started in radio in the New York City New York NBC’s Today Show.
After that, Travis went to join KHQ-TV in Spokane prior to returning to work for KNDO-TV in Yakima, Washington. It was from Seattle that Travis landed a job opportunity at Q13 FOX. His work at the station was honored by the Associated Press, RTNDA, as well as the Society of Professional Journalists. In 2012, Travis received a Fisher Communications “Innovation” award. He was nominated for an Emmy and also got an opportunity to serve on the board of governors of NATAS NW in the same year.
