Soon, Agaba was converted into a child soldier and was forced to wield weapons to fight against the government.
He managed to escape after spending many days at the camp as a child soldier. Subsequently, Agaba was arrested by the cops and was detained for about 13 months prior to escaping from the prison, following a brawl with the prison guard. Agaba moved to Uganda.
There, he was noticed by a ‘Care International employee. Agaba was sent to the United Kingdom. In the UK, the parent organization of ‘Care International’ is based. He faced difficult times for many days even after making it to London. Agaba was then spotted by the authorities of the ‘Refugee Council.’
