Suzanne Goin is an American chef and restaurateur from Los Angeles, California. The restaurateur currently runs three fine dining restaurants in the Los Angeles area with partner Caroline Styne: i.e a.o.c., Lucques, and Tavern. She also runs a marketplace/restaurant, four Larders called  Lucques Catering, and the Larder Baking Company, a wholesale bakery. Suzanne is the co-founder of The Hungry Cat, which she founded with her husband, David Lentz.

The award-winning chef was named as one of Food & Wine Magazine’s “best new chefs of 1999.” Also, Suzanne was nominated for James Beard awards as Outstanding Chef eight times. In 2006, she won the coveted national award. Gourmet magazine, Bon Appétit, and Los Angeles Times have praised Suzanne’s restaurants which awarded Lucques three stars. The chef won the James Beard award for Best Chef: California early in her career in 2006. Also, her cookbook, Sunday Suppers at Lucques won an award.

She as well worked at a series of highly successful restaurants such as Alice Water’s Chez Panisse, Todd English’s Olives. Suzanne traveled to France  in early 1990’sand worked with Alain Passard at his three star Arpege.
