Susan Goldberg is an American journalist and editor. Currently, she serves as editor-in-chief of National Geographic Magazine. Susan is the first woman to edit the magazine since it was first published in 1888.

Before joining National Geographic, she served at Bloomberg and USA Today. Additionally, she is an advocate for cross-platform storytelling. From 2007-2010, Susan worked as the editor of The Plain Dealer, the daily newspaper of Cleveland and the largest newspaper in Ohio.
