Susan Arbetter is an American anchor. She currently serves as the anchor of “Capital Tonight” on Spectrum News. Before Susan returned to television,  she served as a host and producer of WCNY’s syndicated public radio program “The Capitol Pressroom.” The program now broadcasts live from the 3rd floor of the State Capitol in Albany on weekdays from 11 am to noon.  Also, Susan served as the Director of News & Public Affairs for Syracuse public broadcaster, WCNY.

The radio interviews that Susan conducted on The Capitol Pressroom were cited by State, City, Albany Times Union, Syracuse Post Standard, Buffalo News, NY Post, NY Daily News, Newsday, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, the New York Times, among other publications. During the interviews, Susan hosted guests such as businesses representing the entire political spectrum, and leaders in politics, policy, and law. The show is devoted to state politics and government and airs throughout upstate New York. Before that, Susan served as a Capitol Correspondent and News & Public Affairs Director at WCNY Public Broadcasting. She worked there from 2009 to 2019.
