Stephen Strang is a popular American author and podcaster. As of now, Strang works as the founder/CEO of Charisma Media, a journalist, and editor who has covered the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement for over three decades. Strang is also the host of the Strang Report podcast.
The Charisma magazine was created in 1975 as the members’ magazine of Calvary Assembly of God in Winter Park, Florida, with Strang as publisher. He bought the magazine in 1981, for $25,000 and broadened its mission to work for the charismatic movement at large. The starting year proved to be difficult, with a $100,000 loss, but the magazine afterward emerged as the “main magazine of the Christian charismatic movement”. Strang proceeds to run the magazine today via his company, Charisma Media (initially Strang Communications). The Charisma of the magazine is a mixture of news, interviews, “Christian living” features Bible teaching, as well as essays by columnists. Frequent columnists include Joyce Meyer and Don Colbert.
