Stacy had her first taste in journalism in 2004, when she was hired as a Traffic reporter at WNYW-Tv, a FOX affiliate station in New York. However, three years later she left and joined WRNN-TV as a weather anchor and entertainment reporter. Stacy patiently worked at the station for a year and four months and in June 2008 she left the station and relocated to New Jersey.
There, she received a job to work as a weather anchor at NBC Weather Plus, however, six months later she left and joined CBS News. From December 2012 to April 2013 Stacy reported weather reports on CBS on This Morning Saturday. In July 2017, She joined Time Warner Cable as a meteorologist, she served at the station for two years and two months that was from July 2017 to August 2019. Other than her journalism career Stacy also works as a writer at both moms.me and BabyCenter where she provides parenting tips to her fellow parents.
