Simon Sinek Biography
Simon Sinek is a popular English-born American writer and motivational speaker on business leadership. His novels include Start with Why published in 2009 and The Infinite Game released in 2019. Simon started his career at the New York ad agencies Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather and later launched his own business, Sinek Partners.
Being an inspirational speaker, he has spoken at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in 2016, and at TEDx conferences many times, starting in 2009. Simon’s 2010 “How Great Leaders Inspire Action”, coming out of his number one memoir, Start with Why, became one of the most-viewed TED talks. Moreover, his next book, Leaders Eat Last, was listed on the bestseller lists of The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Simon has also worked at Columbia University as an instructor of strategic communications and was a RAND Corporation adjunct staff member. Publishers Weekly announced in November 2018 that he would start Optimism Press, a new imprint of Penguin Random House. Simon later began a digital learning platform titled The Optimism Company.
