Prior to joining the WKRC news team on March 10, 2014, she worked for FOX 19, WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1999 to 2014. There, Shiela co-anchored the “Fox 19 Morning News” with Rob Williams.

Before being hired by WXIX in 1999, she anchored the evening newscast for WSAZ in Charleston, West Virginia from 1988 to 1999. While there, She was the first female news anchor to anchor both the 6 and 11 evening news on the two city newscasts.  Additionally, Sheila is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards including, most recently, the “Joe Nuxhall Humanitarian of the Year” award for 2020. Also, The West Virginia Associated Press recognized Sheila for her reporting.
