Sam Seder is an American actor, progressive political commentator, and media host. His works include Who’s the Caboose?, the television shows Beat Cops and Pilot Season.
Sam also appeared in Next Stop Wonderland and made guest appearances on Spin City, Sex and the City, America Undercover, and Maron. Since 2010, he hosts a daily political talk show, The Majority Report. Sam also serves as the voice of Hugo, a recurring character on the animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers. He has written for such television shows as Friends, Entourage, and Two and a Half Men.

In March 2004, Sam became co-host of Air America Radio’s The Majority Report alongside Janeane Garofalo. The Sam Show was canceled on April 13, 2007, and replaced by WOR Radio Network’s late-night radio show host Lionel. Sam was relegated to a Sunday show entitled Sam on Sunday.
Lionel soon lost two-thirds of Sam’s live affiliates and listenership. The final Sam on Sunday was broadcast on June 1, 2008. In November 2009, Sam served as a host of a pilot for NBC of an American version of Have I Got News for You.
Three years later, in November 2012, it was announced he would again be the host of an American version of the show, this time on TBS. In November 2010, Sam started an independent online podcast, also called The Sam Channel. He offers listeners different tiered levels of access to content around the show via the crowdfunding platform Patreon.
