Ron Klain is an American political consultant, politician, attorney, and former lobbyist. He serves as the White House chief of staff under President Joe Biden. A Democrat, Klain was previously chief of staff to two vice presidents, Al Gore from 1995 to 1999 and Biden from 2009 to 2011.

He was appointed by Barack Obama to serve as the White House Ebola Response Coordinator in late 2014, serving into early 2015 after Ebola virus cases in the United States were reported.
