Quin Hillyer is an American conservative newspaper columnist and writer. He serves as a senior commentary writer and editor for the Washington Examiner. Quin also serves as a contributing editor for National Review Online and is a former executive editor for the American Spectator.
He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for the United States House of Representatives from Alabama’s 1st congressional district in the 2013 special election in that district, finishing fourth in the Republican primary.
Additionally, Quin has served in senior roles for the Washington Times, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the Mobile Register, and Gambit New Orleans Weekly. He has also been published in almost every major newspaper in the nation. In addition, Quin is the author of the Mad Jones trilogy of satirical novels. He lives in Mobile, Alabama.
