Nazy Javid is an American news director and anchor. She currently works with North Coast News TV. Nazy anchors the 6 p.m. newscast on KAEF ABC 23 based in Eureka, California. She joined the station in 2016. In 2019, Nazy was awarded an Emmy nomination by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She had covered the Camp Fire, during which her own family had a narrow escape from the tragedy.
However, they lost their own home in the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California state history. Nazy started her broadcast career in 2005 serving as a reporter at KFTY TV50 in San Francisco. While there, she hosted three half-hour shows namely Your Turn, TV50 Marketplace, as well as Dining Out with Nazy.
