Natalie spent most of her childhood years in Rockledge, FL, meaning one could find her splashing around Cocoa Beach almost every weekend.
Besides, it was not until an internship at a TV station in Houston that Natalie decided to pursue her passion through broadcasting. Following college, she worked her way up the news industry via different cities in Texas: Abilene, College Station, and eventually to one of her favorite cities, Austin!
Starting from historical river flooding, and Hurricane Harvey, to widespread winter weather, Natalie really got to taste it all in Texas. She even had the opportunity to present the game-day football forecasts for the award-winning pre-game show, “Aggie Gameday.” But to be honest, her heart has been ready to take on the challenges of forecasting as well as covering tropical weather back in the state that began it all for her, and of course… heads back to the beach. Natalie’s big project in Tampa is to earn her CBM certification from the American Meteorological Society.
