He joined WTVD ABC 11 Eyewitness News in March 2018 where he currently works as a news reporter. Previously, Michael spent two years working for KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas as a news reporter. During his time there, he covered an extensive variety of stories ranging from the state Legislature to the South by Southwest. In addition, Michael also reported remotely on various major events such as severe weather throughout central Texas, deadly bus crashes in Mississippi and Uvalde County, as well as Super Bowl LI.
Prior to working at KVUE, he worked at WAPT in Jackson, Mississippi serving as a news producer and sports reporter for two years. While serving the two roles at WAPT, Micheal provided reports from SEC Media Days and the Senior Bowl and also covered the highly-contested U.S. Senate race between state Sen. Chris McDaniel and incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran. In addition, Michael was also a member of the Associated Press Award-winning “Blitz 16”, which was named the Best Sportscast in Mississippi.
