Her career journey began at KHSL-TV in Redding, California where she served as a bureau reporter. While there, Megan worked almost every shift serving different roles from reporter to producer to morning news anchor, and also served as the evening anchor for three years.
Currently, she anchors KSTP & KSTC morning newscasts from 4:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. In addition, Megan also anchors the station’s 11 a.m. newscast. She obtained an Emmy for her breaking news coverage of the Minneapolis Police Officers being cleared in the shooting death of Jamar Clark in 2016. In addition, Megan spent thirteen hours straight during her time in Kentucky where she anchored on the crash of Comair Flight 5191 in which 49 out of the 50 people on board were killed. As a result, the station was honored with a National Edward R. Murrow Award for her coverage.
Moreover, Megan has volunteered with Shriner’s Hospital for Children for years, took part in Camp Achieve, and also the Shriner’s Prom.
