Maurielle Lue is an American anchor and reporter. She currently serves as the morning anchor for FOX 2 News. Maurielle realized that she wanted to be a journalist while still in elementary school. Maurielle remembers watching the news with her family every night and thinking “That’s going to be me someday!!” Her parents signed her up for every oratorical contest at school and also at her church as soon as Maurielle learned to talk.

COVID-19 came to her door between those three very short encounters.
Huel had called her on the phone while she was treating her symptoms at home. Maurielle was wheezing and could barely speak. A few days later, she was in the hospital.
