In seventh grade, Matt was publishing a weekly paper titled, “Today and Tomorrow,” featuring weather facts, a forecast, and a few weather-related poems.
Matt interned at the Ohio News Network and WICU-TV in Erie. Later on, he’s taking a job as chief meteorologist at WYIN in Chicago and, a few years after that, at WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia. Matt counted 50 tornadoes in his viewing area while serving in Georgia.
