Marysol Castro is an American journalist. She currently serves as a public address announcer for Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. Marysol is a former journalist who worked as a news anchor at WPIX based in New York. Marysol served as a weather forecaster for The Early Show on CBS in 2011. She also served as a featured correspondent on ABC for the weekend edition of Good Morning America.

Marysol held this position from 2004 to 2010. In June 2015, she became part of New Haven-based WTNH-TV  as a fill-in for weekday morning traffic reports as well as an anchor. Marysol served in this position until mid-November 2015. In January 2019, she joined the booth of the Android and iOS app BallparkDJ. This made it possible for any youth softball or even baseball team to be announced by Marysol’s professional voice.

Later, Marysol became the public address announcer at Citi Field on May 30, 2018. She took over the role from Alex Anthony. Currently,  Marysol shares PA duties with Colin Cosell. Her first game was on May 31, 2018, it was against the Chicago Cubs. Mary is the first female PA announcer in the Mets’ history.
