Prior to completing school, Mary’s career started in 1997, at WMDT on the Maryland Eastern Shore. While there, Mary freelanced at FOX45 in Baltimore, WUSA in Washington, D.C. as well as FOX43 in York, Pennsylvania.
FOX43 employed her permanently in 1999. In 2012, Mary became named the first female Chief Meteorologist in the Lower Susquehanna Valley. Mary was also instrumental in developing the Weather Smart brand. She says she is so thrilled and honored to be part of WGAL and an esteemed group of meteorologists, who share a similar passion for the weather she does.
