Mark Duplass is an American filmmaker, actor, writer, and musician. His brother is filmmaker Jay Duplass and together the brothers started the film production company Duplass Brothers Productions in 1996.
Mark and Jay have written and directed the films The Puffy Chair, Baghead, Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon. Mark portrayed the role of Pete Eckhart in the FX Tv series The League from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, he was also one of the stars of Safety Not Guaranteed in 2012 with Aubrey Plaza.
Moreover, he produced The Morning Show in 2019 and received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2020.
