Mark Albert is an American Journalist. He currently works as Hearst Television’s Chief National Investigative Correspondent. Mark is based in Washington, D.C. He has been working as a Correspondent for more than 20 years. Mark is also editor-in-chief of a news startup that he launched. He is also a Peabody-winning journalist, Mark leads his station’s National Investigative Unit.

He has been a journalist for more than 20 years and has featured on every CBS News broadcast such as the CBS Evening News as well as CBS News Radio when he worked as a freelance correspondent at the network for about three years. Mark won the highest honor in broadcast journalism known as the George F. Peabody Award.

It was as a result of his investigation into the death of a sailor in Iraq. This death made the U.S. military change their way of tracking the remains of all American service members who were killed around the globe. Mark is also the holder of the National Headliner Award, including its Grand Award. from both the National Press Foundation as well as the National Press Club.
