Marc Maron (Full name: Marc David Maron) is an American musician, actor, writer, podcaster, and stand-up comedian. He was a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman in the 1990s and 2000s. Marc has appeared over forty times, more than any other stand-up comedian on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. From 1993 to 1994, he hosted Comedy Central’s Short Attention Span Theater taking over the role from Jon Stewart.
Currently, Marc is a regular guest on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. He also hosted the short-lived 2002 American version of the British game show called Never Mind the Buzzcocks on VH1.
