Marc Evan Jackson is an American talented comedian and famous actor. He is best known for his distinctive deadpan delivery as well as his role as the strict, authoritative character. He began his improv career with a group associated with Calvin University called River City Improv after attending a rehearsal to play the piano. Later, Marc joined The Second City Detroit and became a member of the main company in 1998. While there, he participated in the 1999 show called “Phantom Menace to Society.

He then moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and taught improv at Second City Hollywood.  In 2003, Marc joined the long-form improv group named “The 313” named for Detroit’s area code and made up of mostly former Detroit residents, including Jaime Moyer, Maribeth Monroe, Andy Cobb, and Nyima Funk,  Joshua Funk, Larry Joe Campbell, and Keegan-Michael Key. The group performs at comedy festivals around the country, including Detroit, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
