She became part of the WILX News 10 in July of 2017 (an NBC affiliate) based in Onondaga, Michigan, United States. The Lansing in Brighton, Michigan native graduated from the University of Michigan. While still a student, Mallory worked as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network. She as well served as a news anchor for the student-run TV station, WOLV-TV.
