Mag Ruffman (Full Name: Margaret Jan Ruffman) is a popular Canadian comedian, actress, author, and television host who is the owner of ToolGirl Press which produces boutique books and electronic publications. She writes a weekly home improvement column titled ToolGirl, for the Toronto Star. She released a collection of her ToolGirl columns as a book, How Hard Can It Be? in 2003.

She is also the owner of Ruffman Entertainment Inc. Mag is also the ambassador at Habitat for Humanity Canada. Mag has played roles in movies such as Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea as well as the TV series Road to Avonlea. She was reconciled with Sarah Polley on the set of the Netflix show Alias Grace in 2017 when Mag played Diane.

She also invents and performs in the theatre. Mag formed and played as Ms. Eleanor Crumpacker in Dufferin Museum’s 1919 Prohibition Halloween Dinner Theatre in 2019.
