Lauren Scala is an American television reporter. She currently works as the traffic reporter on WNBC’s Today based in New York. Lauren is also a feature reporter and host for the station’s daily lifestyle show called  “New York Live.” From 2010 until 2012, she served as a host of WNBC’s Live Interactive Trivia Game. The game was always on the Saturday edition of Today in New York during the newscast at 9 am.

Currently, Lauren hosts a half-hour show  “In the Wings,”. It is a backstage guide to everything Broadway, it features on NBC NY Nonstop and is also an East Coast Entertainment Correspondent aired at EPIX. Previously, Lauren hosted many other half-hour shows for NBC’s digital cable channel and New York Nonstop, such as Don’t Miss This. It was a collaboration with Time Out New York Magazine, “Nonstop Sound,”.
