Lauren Phinney is an American reporter and anchor. She serves as an anchor at KUSI-TV based in San Diego County, California. Lauren joined the channel in 2014 and also serves as a news anchor for the Good Morning San Diego show as well as Greater San Diego at 11 pm. Prior to that Lauren worked at ABC 7WWSB-TV from Apr 2010 and left in Mar 2018. While there she worked as the lead anchor for the 5 pm, 5:30,6pm, 11 pm Sarasota (Tampa), FL shows.
Additionally, she served as an anchor and reporter at WTXL ABC 27. While there, Lauren anchored the 5 pm one-hour newscast. She also acted as the managing editor/ intern coordinator. Furthermore, she hosted the ABC 27 Extreme Makeover Special, Bobby Bowden Retires, and Destination Destin. Laureen was also given the role of Acting news director between 7th Nov to 8th Feb.
