Kota The Friend ( Real name: Avery Marcel Joshua Jones) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He released his debut mixtape titled Palm Tree Liquor in 2016. His second mixtape called Paloma Beach was released in 2017. In 2018, Kota released his first independent studio album named Anything. He released Foto in 2019 followed by Lyrics to GO, Vol. was released in January 2020. In late May, Kota released another one titled Everything.
In January 2021, Kota released Lyrics to GO, Vol.2, and To Kill A Sunrise with Statik Selektah was released in March 2021.
