Kay Arthur Precept Ministries International
As soon as they stopped the missionary work in Mexico and returned to Chattanooga, Tennessee due to jack’s health issues. Jack was hired as a manager at a local Christian radio station, while Kay taught the teens about salvation. They later purchased a 32-acre farm to accommodate the rapidly growing number. The ministry was first named Reach Out Ranch.
In 1972, the radio station was sold and Jack was the Ranch’s full-time administrator. Later on, the ministry was later renamed Precept Ministries International (PMI). In November 2009, Kay signed the Manhattan Declaration, an ecumenical statement calling on evangelicals, Catholics, and Orthodox not to comply with rules and laws that go against their religious conscience. She stated that matters such as abortion, and same-sex marriage should not be allowed.
