Josh originated from the Upper Midwest. Therefore, he is no stranger to the snow and cold Boston winters can bring. In the family that Josh grew up in, the weather was always a focus. They were always looking for dry stretches to get hay off the fields and also predicted the exact wind direction for hunting and fishing.
The experience is what got Josh interested in weather and made him pursue a degree in Meteorology. Josh went on to forecast the weather in Iowa, Milwaukee immediately after his college years were over. He as well went to work in Minneapolis before going to Boston. Apart from all the moves, his dog called Vinny has been a constant in Josh’s life. He rescued Vinny while in college. During his free time, Josh loves to hike with Vinny and they both enjoy exploring the beauty of New England.
