Joe Moore is an American is a Television Personality, Professional actor, and Playwright. He is currently working as a principal news anchor at KHON-TV in Honolulu, Hawaii. Joe has starred in two independent motion pictures namely Goodbye Paradise and Moonglow. He has also been featured in various episodes of network television series based in Hawaii, such as one West Waikiki, Tour of Duty, Jake and the Fat Man, Hawaii Five-O, and Magnum P.I.
Joe also starred in live theatrical productions and co-starred many times with Pat Sajak, ( his longtime friend and tv host ). In 2001 and 2012, Joe and Pat starred together in the Neil Simon play “The Odd Couple” The play took place at the Connecticut Repertory Theatre. In that play, Joe played the slovenly Oscar Madison. Again in 2004, they appeared together in a theatrical adaptation of “The Honeymooners”.

After a two-year as an Army broadcast journalist based in Vietnam, Joe ventured into his career in as a sportscaster in Hawaii in 1969.
He then moved to the news anchor desk in 1980, there, Joe kept viewers informed about historic events as they unfolded. When not in the newsroom or studio, Joe is either, watching plays and movies, writing for the theatre, listening to music, or acting on stage. Previously, Joe hosted a weekly Mozart program on Public Radio in Hawaii.
