Joe Buck ( Full name: Joseph Francis Buck ) is an American sportscaster best known for his work with Fox Sports. He served as the lead play-by-play announcer for the network’s National Football League as well as Major League Baseball coverage. Joe has been serving as the play-by-play announcer for the World Series each year since 1996 apart from 1997 and 1999 when those particular World Series were called by Bob Costas for NBC.
