JJ Redick ( Full name: Jonathan Clay “JJ” Redick) is an American retired professional basketball player. He currently serves as a sports analyst for ESPN.  The Orlando Magic selected JJ 11th overall in the 2006 NBA draft. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils and was known for his excellent three-point and free-throw shooting in college.

During his playing career, JJ set ACC records for most points and most career ACC tournament points. However, his ACC career points record was subsequently broken at UNC in 2009 by Tyler Hansbrough. He is the all-time leading scorer for Duke and he set several of the Duke records including most points in a single season.  On February 4, 2007, his jersey was retired by Duke.

He played for seven seasons in Orlando after being drafted by the Magic. This was followed by a short spell with the Milwaukee Bucks. Later, JJ played for four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers.  He signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2017. The following year, JJ re-signed with them on a one-year deal.
