Jim Ross (Full Name: James William Ross) is a veteran American professional wrestling commentator and talent relations executive. He is currently working as a commentator, analyst, and senior advisor at All Elite Wrestling. He also hosts his own weekly podcast, Grilling JR. Outside of wrestling.

Ross is the greatest wrestling commentator and he is known as Good ol’ JR. He has worked for Mid-South Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, and also world Championship Wrestling.

He was born to his father and mother in Fort Bragg, California, in the United States. Ross’s maternal grandparents owned a general store in Westville. His paternal grandfather, Dee Ross, owned an off-sale beer store and worked as a carpenter.
