Jericka Duncan is a popular American Emmy-nominated journalist. Currently, she works as a national TV news correspondent for CBS News in New York City. Prior to joining CBS News, Jericka worked at KYW, the CBS-owned TV station in Philadelphia for three years. At KYW, she reported Hurricane Irene in 2011 and Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
Prior to that, Jericka worked as a reporter at WIVB (CBS) in Buffalo, N.Y., from 2007 until 2010. During her time there, she won a local Emmy Award in 2008 in the best morning show category for her winter storm coverage. In 2009, Jericka became one of the first reporters at the scene of a plane crash near Buffalo that took the lives of 50 people.
Her coverage contributed to the station winning two national Edward M. Murrow Awards. Jericka started her career in 2005 in nearby Elmira, N.Y. In 2007, she won a New York State Broadcasters Association Award for Best Spot News Coverage.
