Jenny Zhang is an American poet, writer, and prolific essayist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She is popularly recognized for her articles that mainly centralize her Chinese American immigrant identity and experience in the United States.
As a poet, she has published several poem collections including We Are All Find and Dear Jenny among others. For three years that was from 2011 to 2014, she worked as a writer for an online magazine for teenagers called Rookie.
She has also published several best-selling authors including Sour Heart (2017), Dear Jenny, We Are All Find (2012), and March Sisters (2019). During her free time, Jenny loves traveling, hiking, and going out to with her friends and family.
