Jameela Jamil ( Full name: Jameela Alia Jamil) is an English presenter, podcast host, actress, and activist. She currently serves as the host of a podcast called I Weig. Jameela started her career on Channel 4 where her role was to host a pop culture series in the T4 strand. She worked there from 2009 until 2012.
From there, Jameela became the radio host of The Official Chart. She as well co-hosted The Official Chart Update on BBC Radio 1 alongside Scott Mills. Jaamile became the first solo female presenter of the BBC Radio 1 chart show. She relocated to the United States in 2016.

However, Jameela slowly recovered after steroid treatment and physiotherapy. She used a Zimmer frame to start walking. Jameela credits the car accident for pushing her towards recovery from anorexia. She says that the accident changed her relationship with her body.
