Jalen Rose (Full name: Jalen Anthony Rose) is an American former professional basketball player. He currently serves as a sports analyst. While in college, Jalen was a member of the University of Michigan Wolverines’ “Fab Five.” Other club members included Ray Jackson, Jimmy King, Juwan Howard, and Chris Webber. They reached the 1992 and 1993 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship games as both freshmen and sophomores.
Jalen played as a small forward in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for six teams. He most notably played alongside Reggie Miller on the Indiana Pacers team. The team made three consecutive Eastern Conference finals, including the 2000 NBA Finals. Jalen retired from his playing career with a career average of 14.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game in 2007.
